Canongate Studios sits with a smile on it's face by the Shore in Leith.  With the current decline in advertising across media, the sound investment of high specification studios eleven years ago sees Canongate courting BBC Radio 4, BBC Four and Channel 4 who are just the latest in an increasingly long line of broadcasters happy to find a studio of such standard in Edinburgh.

With a busy diary in coming months, the studio is canny enough to continue relationships with existing commercial clients, helping them to produce the most from ever-limited budgets. 

The twin studio complex is now complemented by Canongate Actors and Models, giving clients a perspective on casting from the other side of production - and ensuring the phone continues to ring until late into the night. 

A new sound engineer with a long history in radio has joined the studio, and with the sun shining on Leith it looks like the postproduction broadcast projects will sit happily side by side with voiceover sessions for some of the biggest agencies and independents in the business.
