Tim Beard, Creative Director
Bibliotheque Design
Tim Beard first worked in London at Williams & Phoa from 1992 ‹ 1994, then
was at Cartlidge Levene from 1994 ‹ 1996. In November 1996 he joined North
where he stayed for eight years. In March 2004 he left North to set up
Bibliothèque with Mason Wells, who he had worked with previously at North
and Cartlidge Levene, and Jon Jeffrey who had been working with Mark Farrow.
Bibliothèque is a small, creatively led studio working in the fields of
corporate identity, exhibitions, publishing, installations and signage
systems. Our intention is to focus on producing work which was firmly
grounded in solving design problems without resorting to superfluous
styling. Our methodology has been established through a long term
appreciation of design history, and the luminaries who have paved the way.
We have always believed that to look to the future we must learn from the
past.

Jason Schragger, Creative Director
Plantage Berlin
Jason was born in Zimbabwe’s second largest city. However, in the 80’s Bulawayo was not the place a skinny white boy should be running around. So his parents left nearly everything behind and moved their family to Australia where he lived until 1998.
That was when a call from BBH made him make a spur of the moment decision to pack up again and start at their office in Singapore, working mainly on Levis Japan.
When he was 27 he started at Lowe Singapore as their ECD. That was when, as he says, he first found his passion for delegation. Within two years they were voted the best agency in Singapore claiming a variety of awards including a gold in the TV category at Cannes for Ikea.
However his dream of working in Europe became reality as he headed to Amsterdam to join Strawberryfrog where he became their ECD.
After three years he decided to try something new. Well anything new. So he wrote a book, worked at a denim house as an intern, worked in Berlin and Moscow as a freelancer, and basically did “whatever”.
But early this year, he found a new home at Plantage Berlin as their ECD. Based in an old chocolate factory, working in Berlin is as inspirational as it sounds. He feels privileged to be there during what can only be described as an artist revolution. Changing a once divided and controlled city in the East of Germany into an icon of free thinking.
