David Reid may have won plaudits for the way he handled the demise of 1576, but as the business neared an end, he admits that it was a constant struggle.
Bitter, angry and aggrieved is how you might expect David Reid to feel. Late last week the lights finally went out at 1576, the agency he helped found 13 years ago.
The business went bust at the beginning of February and since then he has been involved helping liquidators wind the business up.
