Glasgow City Marketing Bureau is set for change as it aims to meet tough targets laid out by its chief executive Scott Taylor. Taylor meets The Drum to discuss the actions needed to stay ahead of the game.

Despite hosting the final of one of Europe’s premier Football cups; despite winning the bid to host the 2014 Commonwealth Games and despite being named top city in the UK by the readers of prestigious lifestyle magazine Condé Nast Traveller, Glasgow – the Dear Green Place – can little afford to rest on its laurels.

Scott Taylor, chief executive of Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, occupies the captain’s chair of the organisation he helped set up almost four years ago and has run since day one.
