If you still think ‘the crimp’ is an unfortunate hairstyle, the latest Sugar Puffs ad may have passed you by. However for fans of offbeat comedy The Mighty Boosh it was tantamount to sacrilege. Has the Honey Monster gone too far?
It sounds so ludicrous that it could be a comic sketch in itself, but if you believe the tabloid press, the creators of hit TV comedy The Mighty Boosh are set for a legal square off with the Honey Monster.
Comedians Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt, the stars of the show and brains behind it, are – according to The Sun – attempting to get the new Sugar Puffs ad taken off air because they feel it ‘copies’ their trademark singing style – the ‘crimp’.
