The judging for the Roses Design Awards is now complete, with Malcolm Garrett, creative director at AIG: Applied Information Group, chairing the process for the second year in a row.
Entries to the awards are up this year with over 500 individual entries received, from 155 different companies.
Garrett was joined on the judging panel by Jane Plüer, associate partner, Pentagram; Mark Hurst, creative director at Albion; Ben Stott, creative director at NB Studio; and Ian McFarlane of Spin.
Speaking of the judging process, the returning chairman said: “What stood out for me is that there is work for a lot of really tough clients. I don’t mean difficult clients, but I mean the subject matter is tough in a lot of cases.
