Senior Digital Account Director (New Business) – Manchester - £50-55k + bonus

Our client is a market leader in the provision of integrated marketing communications based in Central Manchester. This dynamic company has developed an exciting corporate strategy to maintain and significantly extend their already extensive market presence. In order to deliver their set goals and objectives, and influence further strategies, they wish to appoint an experienced Account Director with a track record of delivery.

As a Senior Account Director, you will act as the client's liaison within the agency and balance the input of the various agency departments, ensuring it meets the client's objectives, know all there is to know about the client’s product or service, the market and its consumer. This role also involves a high percentage of strategic new business (pitching and representing the agency at trade shows), the split would be around 70% new business and 30% strategic account management at senior level.

You will be a strategic thinker and a great communicator, with a sharp eye for detail. Excellent presentation and communication skills, an accomplished networker, you will easily build strong relationships with your clients.

Cultural fit will be key to this appointment. They have a close knit and supportive team who genuinely love what they do and get on and do it without any tantrums. A straight talking yet personable character is what they’d like with impeccable man management skills who’ll work collectively with internal departments and work towards the success of the company.

Ultimately, this role is a revenue generation-focused role and has a set financial target, therefore your performance criteria will be set against target achievement.
