We are pleased to announce an excellent opportunity for a confident, resourceful Digital designer to join our European Communications Department. The role will involve creating and delivering Digital creative output across Europe and must be dedicated in producing high quality promotional and digital marketing material. Design work will cover all of Brother’s product categories as well as Brother branding. The overall aim of this role is to bring a consistent, professional service in all digital creative formats to specific deadlines on demand.

Objectives
•To provide effective creative support for Global Team Brother and enabling the position of Brother as the “at your side” company through the communication function.
•To work within BIE providing support for local sales offices and other BIE departments through the preparation and communication of marketing and corporate communication material, services and information.
Main tasks
•To create and design digital marketing/corporate communication material for both internal and external usage, including Flash banners, web pages , e-mailers
•In-house digital creative services producing artwork projects and supporting all European offices with Artwork services.
•Constant communication and correspondence with European offices to develop local market materials for each individual category.
•Creation and management of the communications website and intranet.
•Provide European offices with appropriate high or low resolution media of archive material for local PR or media opportunities.
•Gaining translations / localisations from European offices for digital material.
•Maintain the EU websites when required to add content via the CMS.
•Some understanding of available technologies for new media Platform (latest Android, IOS devices for mobile web) would be an advantage.

Requirements

Essential
• Educated to HNC/HND or equivalent level qualification in Digital Graphic Design
• Adobe CS suite application including Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop & Illustrator, Microsoft Office.
• Full understanding of Web page design including HTML CSS code.
• To have the skills and ability to work towards schedules and meet deadlines in the absence of Management.
• Proficient in MAC & PC

Desirable
• Strong typographical skills
• A second European language
• Full, clean driving license
