Quantum's client is an independent fast growing Edinburgh based Marketing Research organisation who are well known in terms of both size and reputation. Their main aim is to provide clients with solid, innovative and insightful conclusions and recommendations as well as helping them to understand and use the research. They have recently developed a training academy to help build an environment for increased personal development amongst its staff.

Due to ongoing success and expansion, a new role has arisen for an Associate Director.

An accomplished individual is required to lead a team of experienced researchers to continually deliver high standards of excellence on existing projects, but also with a remit to actively develop new business opportunities within the Scottish market.

The ideal candidate will be expert in all research techniques with the ability to create and implement highly relevant bespoke solutions to address the most challenging of research objectives. You will have a minimum of 4 years research experience and a background in both private and public sector research.

You will be able to manage, motivate and develop others in your team, whilst ensuring that project, company and client objectives are always met within resource cost and time allocation. You must be a highly motivated individual with tenacity and determination to succeed. Business minded with analytical strengths and an aptitude for developing and building on strong client relationships to ensure a steady flow of new and repeat business.

The role would span all areas of market research (both qualitative and quantitative)- from taking briefs to writing proposals, undertaking fieldwork and producing output (presentations and reports) for clients. It is also hoped that candidates will be able to help push forward and develop the whole of the company by making suggestions and recommendation for improving the running of the company (systems, techniques, marketing/new business strategy, etc) when suitable.
