Creative England is the new consolidated body emerging from the ten years of sector development expertise of the RSAs. Committed to both cultural and economic values, Creative England’s longterm objective is to grow the infrastructure that will enable the creative and digital sector outside of London to expand and flourish. Creative England is a private “not for profit” company, Limited by guarantee; the designated body in receipt of DCMS funds via the British Film Institute (BFI) for the delivery of film services in the English regions. It is also bidding to a number of other central government and European funds.
Recently, Creative England has secured c.£5 million RGF funding for ‘Digital Champions’, a private sector-led scheme providing development funding and market expertise to small creative and digital businesses working in cross-platform content and services.
THE ROLE
The Commercial Contract Manager will be a first class project manager responsible for coordinating the management of our RGF funding and providing appropriate reports to the senior management team. This information may relate to existing and new contracts along with the assets and liabilities for Creative England; especially those of the subsidiary companies (legacy companies).
CONTRACT: 2 year fixed term
SALARY: £35,000 to £40,000 dependent on experience
LOCATION: Greater Manchester (MediaCityUK, Salford Quays). You may be expected to travel
on a regular basis to other parts of England.
