The credit crunch has already taken its toll on consumers and UK businesses are now beginning to feel the effects. Daily reports of the effect of the economic downturn will inevitably start to have an impact on the marketing and PR industry, which historically has suffered during similar times from knee jerk reactions by those companies seeking cost savings. But in taking such evasive action, companies do so at their peril.
