Sitting pretty: just one of McCann's ads.
Take One Egg, formerly Morgan, has been appointed to work across a number of brands and products for Highland Spring.
The agency, formed last month after Morgan went into voluntary liquidation, has already begun working on the account, which was previously handled by McCann-Erickson Scotland. McCanns will continue to work across a number of the company's niche brands.
Highland Spring's media account has also been moved, going from Universal McCann in Manchester to CIA Scotland.
On the appointment of Take One Egg Highland Spring marketing director Liz Breckenridge said: "We'd been talking to them for a number of months about branding. It was over a couple of months and wasn't a sudden decision. Egg seems to have a very strong and determined team.
"Highland Spring is a name that anyone would love to have on their roster of clients," commented John Morgan, chairman, at Take One Egg. "We are delighted to be doing business with them."
Neither Egg nor Highland Spring would comment on which specific brands the agency will be working on or how much the contract is to be worth. The win has been followed by an appointment south of the Border for Take One Egg. The agency has won the account to promote Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses, a family-owned cheese manufacturer based in Preston. Take One Egg will be the first advertising agency the company has ever employed, and beat a number of southern agencies to the account. Morgan said: "Again, this is an exciting brand with lots of possibilities. I presume they saw something in us for the distance not to matter."
