Music Zone to launch in-store newspaper

Rapidly burgeoning music retailer Music Zone is set to launch an in-store music paper called The Zone.
With a planned circulation of 200,000, the free paper will provide the store's customers with an indepth guide to the entertainment scene, whilst providing Music Zone with an exclusive opportunity to market its latest releases and promotions. Published by Manchester's Sparker Media, The Zone will be available in each of the retailers 26 existing stores and the 15 that are scheduled to open this year. Its circulation will exceed that of the NME and Muzic combined. Commenting on the plans, publication co-ordinator Andy Forster said, "The Zone, which will be published every two months, continues Music Zone's philosophy of value for money and customer service."
