Denholm quits ID while The Leith denies recruitment launch rumours

Denholm: launching her own agency.

Nicola Denholm has quit ID Recruitment, the recruitment agency which she started with business partner Linda Park two years ago.
ID Recruitment was launched by Denholm and Park, ex-directors at Quantum Recruitment, as a 50-50 partnership. It has two divisions, marketing and office support.
Speaking to The Drum about her departure, Denholm said that she “no longer shared the same vision” as her fellow director for the future of ID.
Denholm, who officially left ID Recruitment last week, will now launch her own agency, the second in just over two years. Called Denholm Associates, the new agency will be a specialist niche marketing consultancy with a remit that aims to be UK-wide.
ï Meanwhile, The Leith Agency has denied speculation that it is to set up a recruitment arm within the company, following the appointment of creative Andy Archer from Strathearn. Stathearn currently handles recruitment advertising for Standard Life.
John Denholm, chairman of The Leith, commented: “I have heard some rumours that we are setting up a recruitment side. However, in truth, it is not something that we are really looking into at the moment.”
Denholm continued: “Andy used to be creative director at Morgan. I see him as a strong all-rounder and a welcome addition to the team.”
