Nick Ramshaw quits Pure for Elmwood role

Nick Ramshaw has left his role as business development director at design consultancy Pure to take up the position of chief executive of elmwood Scotland.
Ramshaw, who was with Pure for four years, will join design directors Paul Sudron and Graham Sturzacker to take responsibility for both promoting business development for the design consultancy and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
The announcement comes following the departure of elmwood’s business development director, David Robertson, earlier this year.
Ramshaw has worked in brand and design consultancy roles for the past fifteen years, and will be working with a variety of elmwood’s clients, including Curtis Fine Paper, Napier University and Kyndal.
Commenting on the move, Ramshaw said, “I have joined elmwood to satisfy my need for personal and professional development. I strive to work with individuals of the highest business and creative talent, to constantly learn new skills and to lead a successful team respected by all for its design excellence.”
Jayne Barrett, elmwood’s managing director, added: “I am absolutely delighted that Nick has joined us because his considerable experience, his market knowledge, his ambition and energy will really help us to build on and accelerate this.”
