Major cooker manufacturer consolidates £1m media business into Leeds

Glen Dimplex Cooking, the owner of popular cooking brands such as Belling, New World and Stoves, has consolidated its £1m media account into the newly formed Mediavest Leeds.
Since acquiring the Stoves and New World brands in 2001, Glen Dimplex has been striving to integrate the businesses and the media move marks a further step in the consolidation of the brands. Mediavest secured the business following a pitch against Brilliant, the former incumbent of the Belling brief, and PHD Rocket, which had the Stoves business.
Dominic Geary, director at MediaVest Leeds said, “This is an excellent win for us and we are very proud to be appointed on such strong cooking brands, we hope this will be the start of a long and successful partnership.”
According to Mediavest strategic plans for the 3 brands have yet to be finalised, although traditionally they have concentrated their efforts in consumer magazines and national press supplements.
