Chamber of Commerce appoint marketing chief

Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced the appointment of a new sales and marketing manager. Catherine Johnson takes the reigns as the business support organisation aims to recruit more members.
Johnson has nine years of industry experience in professional services, engineering and business-to-business marketing. She also operated her own business for a number of years.
\"It is an exciting time to be coming to the chamber. The organisation is going through some interesting changes and the marketing department will play a key part in that,\" commented Johnson.
She added, \"I know what it is like to run my own business and I am sure that experience will be invaluable as we attempt to sell the benefits of membership to the thousands of firms in Birmingham and Solihull.\"
