Telegraph Group’s Walmsley takes on client development director role

The Telegraph Group has announced the appointment of a client development director, who will be charged with forging relationships with the Group’s clients nationwide, in consultation with the marketing, advertising, enterprises and digital departments of the company.
Ted Walmsley has made the leap from regional advertising manager to take on the newly created role.
Senior clients will benefit from personalised, one to one contact and strategic creative consultation to their marketing briefs.
Walmsley will continue to be based in The Telegraph Group’s Manchester office.
Commenting on his new responsibilities, he stated, “This is a great move for me and a challenge I’m very pleased to be taking on. The bottom line is I plan to develop strategic, long-term approaches for clients that will build their brands and develop product sales.”
In addition to his new role, Walmsley will continue with his regional responsibilities of his original title.
