Peter Davis, formerly a creative head at Manchester’s MAP before starting his own business, In-house Creative, has joined Wilmslow based agency Pavilion as creative director.
One of Davis’ first major projects has been creating a new “edgy” microsite and online campaign for UCI Cinemas. The site, found at www.ucilovestudents.com, is aimed primarily at first year university students. Consisting of downloads, interactive games and offers, it is designed to encourage users to register with UCI and receive targeted e-mail activity. Risqué lines such as “get it off”, “spread your love around” and “fancy a f___?” are used to appeal to the target audience. Davis described the job as “a great opportunity to tap into the mindset of students and show that UCI is on their wavelength.”
