Clayton Graham retains Black & Lizars brief

Optician Black & Lizars has re-appointed Clayton Graham Communications, following a competitive review. The Glasgow-based agency retained the business in a pitch against four other UK-wide agencies.
Black & Lizars first appointed Clayton Graham in 1999, and was persuaded by the Glasgow-based agency to invest the bulk of its annual spend on TV advertising – helping Black & Lizars become a household name.
Clayton Graham will now develop a new TV campaign designed to keep Black & Lizars’ strong position in the marketplace.
Elena Amosso, commercial director at the optician chain, said: “We enjoyed working with Clayton Graham and loved the last campaign it created for Black & Lizars. It was time, however, for a fresh approach and, despite being up against four very strong agencies, again they came up with the goods – a lively and versatile campaign, which we believe will strengthen our brand.”
