Mann returns to Shandwick as Farrell anticipates positive 2004

Weber Shandwick MD Nora Farrell is anticipating a good year ahead and has made a number of signings to ensure that her firm is positioned to take full advantage.
Charlie Mann returns to the Glasgow office for a third stint with Shandwick as an associate director. Mann, a former PR manager for Tennent’s, has been working on a freelance basis during 2003 after leaving The Big Partnership, for whom he launched an Edinburgh office, in 2002. Also joining the firm is Murray McDonald, former head of communications at SPT, who is tasked with boosting the firm’s public affairs activity.
The Edinburgh office has been bolstered by the appointment of former Royal Mail communications director Alison Love, who will focus on consumer, public sector and corporate communications.
Other new signings, working in Aberdeen alongside deputy MD John McDonald, are Neil Dowds who was previously in-house with the Scottish Lib Dems and Claire McCabe from Beverley Tricker PR.
