Carnegie Brokers hibs deal

Carnegie Worldwide has brokered a £1m sponsorship deal between Whyte and Mackay and Hibernian Football Club.
The five-year deal will see Whyte & Mackay become the shirt sponsor of Hibs and will involve the marketing and sales team at the drinks company relocating to the club’s Easter Road stadium.
“In a struggling market, it is a great deal for the club and brand and strengthens Whyte & Mackay’s heritage and positioning within football,” said Fife Hyland, managing director of Carnegie Worldwide.
The deal will see the South-side stand at Easter Road renamed the Whyte and Mackay stand. Harrison Cowley has been working on raising the profile of the sponsorship. The announcement follows the signing of Whyte & Mackay to sponsor Leeds United, a deal that Carnegie also brokered and now presides over to ensure the drinks company receives all its sponsorship rights.
Carnegie has also recently been appointed to handle PR and events for charity Streetwork UK.
