Saga makes Big PR appointment

Glasgow-based PR firm The Big Partnership has been appointed by Saga 105.2FM to handle all media relations for the new radio station.
The account, which was won following a competitive pitch, will see the PR firm working closely with the radio station to raise public perception and awareness of the brand in preparation for the launch in the Autumn.
Commenting on the appointment, Norman Quirk, managing director of Saga 105.2 FM said: “We are very impressed with the high standard of all the agencies and we are confident that The Big Partnership will deliver an effective and dynamic PR campaign for Saga 105.2FM. It was important for us to appoint a Scottish agency who understand both the local community and the media in Scotland.”
Heading up the account Neil Gibson, director at the Big Partnership said: "We are delighted to have this opportunity to work with such an established and quality brand as Saga. It is very exciting to be involved at the launch and we hope to play our part in making Saga 105.2FM a key part of the local community and an integral part of the media landscape."
