Redcats choose Mediacom and Response One for £6m brief

Mediacom North is celebrating the launch of its new company Mediacom North Connect with the news that it has secured the £6m offline planning and buying account for Redcats UK. The brief will see Connect working alongside Bath based sister company Response One on brands such as La Redoute, Daxon and Verbedate.
Rob Constable of Redcats said the appointment, made after a competitive pitch, was based on the ability of both firms to, \"provide maximum benefit to Redcats in terms of service as well as costs, (and) their ability to develop the Redcats business in the future.\"
Speaking about the tendering process Mediacomís Andy Bartholomew added, \"The pitch has been one of the toughest in our 7 year history both in terms of meeting Redcats requirements and the strength of the competition.\"
The media firms are now in the process of planning Redcats Autumn/Winter catalogue campaign.
