Charity work for Uber

Sheffield-based agency Über has donated its creative energies to create a new brand identity for the charity Start – an organisation committed to improving the lives of women in India suffering from Leprosy. Established by arts graduate Leah Pattison in 2000, the charity began after a visit to India in 1995. Pattison was recently awarded the Frink Award from the “Women of the Year” panel for her work with the charity. Commenting on Über’s designs, Pattison said: “The logo carries the strapline ‘Empowering Women in India’, which really reaches the heart of our efforts. The team at Über have donated their times and services, which has given Start a fantastic new image without the charity’s money being diverted from the real cause.”
