Moretti launches new agency for photographers

A new agency providing representation and production services for photographers has launched in Edinburgh.
The Moretti Agency is headed by Dawn Moretti and Michelle Methven, and offers the dual services of agency representation for freelance photographers and production services for photo shoots (including scouting for locations, organising models and finding props).
Four Scottish photographers have already signed up to be represented by the agency, including former Picture House photographer David Boni.
Moretti has been employed as a stylist and producer for several years. She has worked mainly around the fashion industry in Scotland (where she has handled fashion styling for Scotland on Sunday), London and overseas. Methven was formerly photo assistant and producer for Mountainey.
Moretti said: “We’re here as a support system for the photographers, to go in and take the briefs. We are offering the full service, from location-finding to booking models, arranging flights and accommodation. The full works. I think what we are offering is a totally unique service in Scotland. I know there are TV production companies up here, but not for photography.”
