Thomas leaves Reading Room for the Pavilion

Andrew Thomas, formerly head of Universal McCann Manchester and the founder of McCann I, has joined Pavilion Communications only months after leaving McCann to set up new media agency Reading Room’s Manchester office.
Thomas said that the move was an entirely amicable one. He commented, \"The decision really came as I realised I wanted to focus myself on a more integrated agency, as opposed to a fully digital one. I think I realised after about three months that the Reading Room wasn’t really for me and therefore the decision to leave was not too difficult.\"
He added: \"I am enjoying working with Pavilion, as it really gives me the opportunity to sink my teeth back into an integrated agency once more and the past month that I have been here has flown by.\"
Thomas has joined the Wilmslow-based agency in the position of MD, completing the new-look management line-up that also includes former MAP creative head Peter Davis.
