Newhaven takes Union creatives

Newhaven has made its first signings since the agency secured a place on the Scottish Executive creative roster.
The agency has swooped for Mark Harrison and Paul Mason from The Union, where they worked on the Baxter’s, S1, ScotRail and Scottish Executive accounts.
The team were also the creatives behind the recent anti-smoking TV advert for Health Scotland, writing it while on placement at The Bridge.
“These are exciting times for us,” said Newhaven creative partner Zane Radcliffe. “Paul and Mark had the best book in town. They’re great thinkers and they have a great attitude. They’re Newhaven people.”
“This is a great move for us,” added Mason. “Newhaven is a dynamic new company with a unique perspective on creativity and fresh methods of working.”
The hirings are not expected to be the last by the expanding Edinburgh agency, which also holds the Tennents advertising account. Newhaven is also seeking to recruit a new studio manager.
