Elmwood has won the account to design and produce the 2004 HBOS annual report, following a six-way pitch.
The win marks the first time that the design brief has been handled in Scotland since the Bank of Scotland and Halifax merged. The last three annual reports have been designed in London by consultancy Black Sun.
The account, which is to be handled from Scotland, will involve the design of the company’s annual report and accounts, summary financial statement and ancillary documents. The summary financial statement will have a print run of three million. All of the documents are to be completed for March next year.
Charles Wycks, director of investor relations for HBOS, said: “We have kept an eye on Elmwood since the merger. They have consistently delivered for all clients and we felt the strength of their creative approach and comprehensive understanding of our business was what we needed for the next phase of HBOS annual reporting. They did very well to win the project and I am sure we will get a memorable result.”
