Nation1 win ambient Rugby task as new marketing director is appointed

Nation1 has been appointed by Scottish Rugby to create a national ambient marketing campaign to promote the fourth-coming Heineken Cup and raise the profile of Rugby in Scotland.
The appointment follows the news that Keith Grainger - currently tournament director of both the Celtic League and Celtic Cup – will assume the role of commercial and marketing director at Scottish Rugby as of February next year.
Scottish Rugby has also announced that Mike Keohane is to take up a new post as director of corporate affairs. Keohane, is a former head of corporate affairs at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group and fulfilled the same role at Scottish Hydro Electric. Most recently he has been director of corporate affairs and human resources for Anglian Water.
The new ambient campaign to be created by Nation1 is part of a new initiative to raise the profile of Scottish Rugby, from grassroots level, through club rugby to the national team.
Nation1 will take the Heineken Cup on a World Tour of Scotland. A promotional team, headed by ex Scotland international captain, Andy Nicol, will take the cup on a road-show to pubs, clubs and shopping centres throughout Scotland, allowing the audience to participate in events.
