Erick Davidson, chief executive of Tayburn, has rubbished rumours that his Edinburgh-based design and marketing consultancy is about to be sold.
Speaking to The Drum, Davidson said: “You could have knocked me over with a feather when I heard your voicemail message, because we have never discussed with anybody, inside or outside the company, selling Tayburn.”
He added: “What a great rumour, it’s absolutely amazing.”
Davidson also revealed that Tayburn has just been appointed to a sizeable piece of national design business, though he could not identify the nature of the account or client as The Drum went to press.
An announcement is expected in the New Year.
