The Drum has continued to build its editorial team with the appointment of Mairi Clark as associate editor.
Clark joins The Drum after a period working as a freelance writer in Scotland, during which she has written extensively for trade titles such as Marketing, PR Week, BBC Online and Sky Business.
Between 1993 and 1999 Clark worked for Campaign, where she was ultimately appointed as a section editor. She also held the position of deputy editor on Media Business. In 2002 Clark was appointed by William Reed Publishing to become launch editor of MA Scotland, a business-to-business title for the licensed trade.
Her associate editor’s role will see her working across all areas of the magazine and having significant input into features and news content.
