David Amers and Phil Adams at The Leith Agency have launched a hunt for a senior planner to head up the agency’s new brand consultancy and research division, called Leithal Thinking.
Leithal Thinking was officially launched as a new service to current and potential clients this week, however Amers and Adams are yet to recruit the person that will take over the day-to-day running of the Leithal Thinking team and sell the service to clients.
The service will enable clients to get top line strategic thinking from some of the most experienced names in the book, and services include qualitative and quantitative research, brainstorming and moderation, strategic planning and brand consultancy.
All senior members of The Leith Agency team will be on offer to clients through Leithal Thinking, which will enable client access to the likes of John Rowley, Gerry Farrell, Amers and Adams.
Amers has recently recruited a head hunting agency to try and identify the right candidate to take on Leithal Thinking, and while he is keen to find someone with the relevant experience he is not discounting the possibility of taking on someone with less experience, but who shows the desired level of energy and commitment to the success of Leithal Thinking.
David Amers said: “With so much research and planning quality and experience within the agency, this is a great opportunity to offer clients a wide range of marketing services from a company with a proven track record in strategic planning and brand marketing.”
Adams added: “Leithal Thinking has been in great demand long before its official launch. There’s clearly a market for the brains behind our advertising and direct marketing output, and we’re currently recruiting two further planners as a result.”
So far clients that have benefited from the Leithal Thinking service include Jim Beam, Worldwide Fund for Nature, Napier University, Eurosource and Scottish Enterprise.
