New creative director for BJL

BJL has appointed Ray Barrett as the agency’s new creative director completing the management buyout that took place 14 months ago.
Barrett, formerly creative director at both WCRS and Ogilvy and Mather in London, has worked on a variety of brands including Nike, Bass, Kimberly-Clark and Prudential. Prior to joining, Barrett ran agency Barrett Cernis working on brands including Britvic and Metro Newspapers.
Commenting on the appointment, MD, Trevor Lorains said: “We are delighted to have him as part of our team, and his appointment reaffirms our commitment to producing creative work and positioning BJL as the leading independent agency outside London.”
