Yorkshire Forward has appointed Brahm to handle the £2.5m branding campaign for the area. The three-year activity will target local and national businesses and key stakeholders to promote working, living and investing in Yorkshire and Humber.
Adline reported earlier this month that Brahm had been shortlisted alongside Thompson for the account. As part of the campaign, the Leeds-based agency will be tasked with developing a strategy, which will ensure an integrated approach for marketing across the five core cities – Leeds, Sheffield, Hull, Bradford and York.
Head of marketing communications for Yorkshire Forward, Theresa Lindsay, said: \"We want to deliver a brand personality for Yorkshire and Humber that sets the region apart from our competitors. The market is getting increasingly cluttered, with advertisers nationally and global tending to claim the same things.\"
\"Our aim is to rise above this ‘sea of sameness’ and create campaigns that connect with our core customers, create a sustainable competitive advantage and deliver results. We believe Brahm will deliver this.\"
The regional development agency has also announced the six agencies that will form its marketing panel. Thompson, DS Emotion, HDM Total Communications, MediaVest Leeds and Words&Pictures with Atlas, will compete for £2m-worth of business over the next three years.
Lindsay, commented: \"We believe we now have a great breadth of expertise across the panel, bringing the best in creativity and innovative thinking in a way that gives the region value for money.\"
Prior to the announcement, Yorkshire Forward had been working with Brahm, Thompson and Poulters for all campaigns.
