Sewell steps down as chief exec at Kingdom Radio Group

Ian Sewell has resigned as chief executive of the Kingdom Radio Group. Kevin Brady and Donny Hughes will assume his responsibilities with immediate effect.
Sewell launched Fife-based Kingdom FM in 1998 and led the expansion of the company in 2003 with the acquisition of West Lothian’s River FM and North Lanarkshire’s Clan FM - which was relaunched as 107 The Edge in late 2004.
Kingdom FM has maintained its market leading position for the past seven years. With a market share of 22.1percent Kingdom FM is the 11th highest performing FM station in the UK.
