Scotland’s media professionals will soon be receiving a call for entries to the first ever Scottish Media Awards.
Taking place next year in Glasgow, the inaugural event will seek to reward Scotland’s top media companies across a range of key categories.
An overall media sales team of the year will be named, as well as separate teams in each of the key media channels: National press display, classified, local press, radio, outdoor, magazine and independent sales point.
Some of the other prestigious titles awarded will include Broadcast, Outdoor and Publishing Companies of the Year, as well as individual awards for Promotion of the Year, Innovation of the Year and Pitch of the year.
A call for entries will be issued in early December, with the closing date for submissions in late January 2006. The awards will take place in April.
