Dundee shopping centre, The Overgate, has moved its media planning and buying account out of London-based Trident and into The Media Shop Scotland following a three-way pitch.
The agency has been briefed to increase foot-fall in the shopping centre, and has already started working on the account. The first campaign bought by The Media Shop is due to kick off later this month. The ads, created by incumbent advertising agency Family, will run on outdoor poster sites as well as local radio stations and television.
Overgate marketing manager Kylie Wilson said: “The Media Shop have shown us that they understand what we are trying to achieve in the retail market and can immediately add value as they already have experience and a strong track record in this sector.”
The account is worth £250, 000.
