New Leeds Media brand launched by Thompson

Thompson has unveiled the new visual identity for Leeds Media. The organisation has outlined ambitious plans for 2006 and beyond, and required an identity that would be able to carry them forward.
Ian Thompson, creative director at the Leeds-based agency, commented: \"We are very aware of the great work that Terry (Morden) and his team are doing on behalf of Leeds and its creative media community. Our job was to create an identity that built on this foundation and then took it to another level.\"
Meanwhile, in other Thompson related news Walsall Borough Strategic Partnership has appointed the agency, along with Net Construct and Ram PR, to promote the Midlands town as a destination for business and inward investment.
Thompson will be tackling the first stages of the process, which involves research analysis and stakeholder consultation.
Information gathered will then be applied to a destination website, built and developed by Wetherby-based Net Construct.
Meanwhile Harrogate-based RAM PR has been contracted to handle the content creation and writing for the entire site.
