Thomas Cook not consolidating agency account

Contrary to recent reports, Thomas Cook has stated that it is not planning on consolidating its marketing activity into one agency. Leeds-based Home currently handles the majority of the travel agents’ account, although TBWA and Farm make up the firm’s marketing roster.
Thomas Cook has, however, confirmed that it is speaking to a number of agencies through the AAR, believed to be in relation to a one-off project.
Kate Knowles, head of marketing at Thomas Cook, said: \"We have implemented very successful marketing campaigns over the last 12 months, but we’re keen now to introduce a higher level of consistency across all marketing initiatives. We’re looking to establish this creatively and through a consistent brand message. As a result we’re talking to a few creative agencies that can offer a fresh approach, a good understanding of our business objectives, and enable a quick turnaround on campaigns.\"
