Kwik-Fit appoint new Marketer as McKenzie departs

Kwik-Fit has announced the appointment of Chris Bosworth as business development and marketing director following the departure of long-term marketing director, Douglas McKenzie after 12 years at the company.
Bosworth will now report to CEO Ian Fraser, in a newly created role in which he will be responsible for all of Kwik-Fit’s brand development strategy as well as all external and internal communications, including its advertising.
His business development remit, a role he has covered as business development director since the beginning of 2006, entails new product development; leveraging potential synergies among the Kwik-Fit Group of companies; exploring potential acquisitions and external partnership opportunities.
Ian Fraser commented: “There are powerful synergies between the business development and marketing disciplines at Kwik-Fit and it makes sense to combine these into a single role.”
