999 hires new creative head for Glasgow team

999 has announced the appointment of a new creative director, Brem Bremner, who will be based in the agency’s Glasgow office.
Bremner joins 999 from London-based Vario where he was partner and creative director. Previous to his appointment Bremner was an associate board director at Light & Coley.
He will begin at the agency this week, where he will be in charge of the creative output of the Glasgow office.
In the past, Bremner has worked with brands that include Sainsbury’s, The Post Office, Novartis Consumer Health and Diagio.
“We’ve been quietly looking around to see who was available in the heavyweight end of the market,” said Richard Bissland, 999’s MD. “This appointment has been about eight months in the making. We had to make sure that it was the right fit, that we understood each other and that we spoke the same language, so it took a bit of time to make sure it came together.”
999 has also recently won accounts with five new clients, Macsween Haggis, Tula Handbags, Aberdeen City Counil’s ‘What’s On’ magazine and Scotland’s West Coast Whisky Adventure.
