National Museums of Scotland has appointed Family to handle its creative advertising account.
Following a five-way pitch, the Edinburgh-based agency will now work alongside The Media Shop, which was recently reappointed to handle media buying services.
The two have been tasked with raising the profile of the national museums.
Also rumoured to be on the pitch list were GRP, The Union, Clayton Graham and The Leith Agency.
The work will involve the National Museums of Scotland’s new branding, which was launched in autumn 2006.
Jane Ferguson, head of marketing and communications at National Museums of Scotland, said: “Our museums, events and exhibitions provide fun, inspiring and informative experiences. We’re looking forward to working with Family and The Media Shop to bring all of this to life to as wide an audience as possible.”
Meanwhile, Family has been appointed by furniture business Olympian to support its marketing activity in 2007. The agency will create a brand campaign for early summer, which may also see Family work on design, advertising and online activity.
