AVC strengthens group offering to challenge central belt agencies

AVC Media Enterprises has acquired Aberdeen-based Brand Advertising, which it will merge with its existing advertising agency, AVC Fairweather in a bid to compete with agencies in the central belt.
The agency will see six new members join AVC Fairweather’s already established team.
Spencer Buchan, director of AVC and Graeme Davidson, managing director of Brand Advertising, will collaborate on leading the new agency.
Spencer Buchan said; “We want to continue to offer the very best value service to both our own and Brand Advertising’s clients. AVC Fairweather has performed very well since it was formed 11 months ago and has, in its short lifespan, seen the acquisition of the business of Dundee-based Precision Media and now the well-respected Brand Advertising.”
