Frame hires retail expert for Subway lead

Frame has hired former Publicis account director, Keith Bolton, to head up its flagship Subway account.
Bolton – who worked on the high-profile Asda account at Publicis – will take on the role of group account director and will perform the same account handling duties as the late Alan Frame.
He joins the Glasgow based agency from Publicis, where he ran the Asda account for the last sixteen years. Bolton was heavily involved in the relaunch of Asda in the early 90s, when they first started to gain market share from Safeway and then Sainsbury’s.
More recently Bolton has been involved in helping to launch the supermarket brand into diversifying sectors, including financial services, homewares and fashion, with its ‘Must Haves’ range from George at Asda. He is recognised as an expert on retail marketing.
Prior to Publicis, Bolton worked for various agencies on various brand advertising accounts including Honda, British Rail and Ever Ready.
