Hampton Associates helps beer brand in global uptake

A young, Aberdeenshire microbrewery has attracted worldwide interest in its range of beers, following a new packaging design by Aberdeen design firm Hampton Associates.
Fraserburgh-based brewery BrewDog approached Hampton to create a brand that reflected the character of both the company and products, which have names such as Paradox, Hop Rocker, Punk IPA and The Physics.
Hampton’s designs have been credited directly with helping to win several new global contracts for the brewery, which produces 10,000 bottles of beer a week.
Said BrewDog MD James Watt: “We feel that we are doing something which is unique on many levels and the fact that this uniqueness has been so perfectly transferred to our product image has really helped us in getting a foothold in the most competitive of markets.”
