Zoo invests in future - in more ways than one

Edinburgh Zoo has launched a new campaign in conjunction with Napier University.
The campaign ‘Spend the Day. Save Tomorrow.’ is the result of a project run by the MSc Creative Advertising course at Napier University.
The university approached Edinburgh Zoo to use it as a case study for its final project. Following a presentation of all the proposed campaigns, the marketing team opted to work with student Victoria Fulton.
Her ‘Spend the Day. Save Tomorrow.’ campaign highlights the link between the zoo and its the conservation work. It will run on Lothian buses and poster sites across Edinburgh. A campaign will also run across.
Carol Ross, marketing manager for the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, said: “We were extremely impressed by the creativity and professionalism of all the students involved. Victoria’s campaign appealed to us as it drew attention to the fact that we are not only a visitor attraction but a conservation charity.”
The zoo last worked with Edinburgh-based Newhaven.
