Rosebys appoints BJL for branding and ad campaign

Rosebys, the soft furnishings retailer, has appointed Manchester-based BJL following a pitch.
The curtain specialist, which has more than 300 high-street stores and retail park outlets in the UK, is facing competition from a number of new competitors in the market.
Retailers such as Asda , BHS and Tesco have all opened dedicated home furnishing stores in recent years, putting increased pressure on a number of soft furnishing specialists.
BJL has been briefed with managing a reposition of the Rosebys brand, before developing an advertising campaign in 2008.
BJL has revealed media spend on the account could reach £3million.
BJL’s Christine Colbert said, “Rosebys have a fantastic heritage having been selling curtains for over 80 years on Britain’s high streets and retail parks. It’s a great proposition to work with for today’s consumers who want to create an individual look for their home.”
