Greggs and MAG appoint MediaVest Manchester

MediaVest Manchester is understood to have won the media planning and buying accounts for Greggs and Manchester Airports Group, approaching a combined media spend of £6million.

Greggs, which employs Propaganda in Leeds for its advertising requirements, has appointed MediaVest to replace incumbent Austin West Media on the £4million account, having worked with the agency since 2002.

MediaVest Manchester has also won the £1.7m media planning and buying account for Manchester Airports Group (MAG), which owns four airports in Manchester, Humberside, the East Midlands and Bournemouth.

The review has seen MAG consolidate its media planning and buying needs into one agency. Previously the business was split between six agencies, including Mediaedge:cia Manchester and Universal McCann Manchester.
