London-based events company, Brand Events has created its own dedicated team in Edinburgh to focus on growing business north of the border.
The company will be headed by Sarah Forbes, formerly of Stripe Communications.
The team will operate out of Stripe’s offices, but is not part of the Cello Group.
Following the recruitment of a new team, Forbes will take responsibility for the Taste Fastival, which launched in Edinburgh for the first time this summer.
Responsibilities will include marketing, operations, sales, sponsorships and restaurant liaison.
Justin Clarke, Taste Festivals UK, said: “We always believed that Edinburgh has the right ingredients for a Taste Festival. Investing north of the border gives us a chance to look to the future.”
